A modern alternative to Chai, containing all the traditional benefits without Black tea. Combines an abundance of exotic fruits and spices with the aromatic warmth and comfort of clove, anise and cinnamon. Its acts as a warming tea to help stimulate circulation and warmth throughout the whole body.
Apple pieces (Malus spectabilis), Hibiscus (Hibiscus sabdariffa), Orange peels (Citrus sinensis), Rosehip peels (Rosa spectabilis), Star anise (Illicium verum), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum aromaticum), Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum), Pimento (Pimenta dioica), Cornflowers blossom (Centaurea cyanus), Red currant natural flavouring.
Full-bodied fruit with spices
Bring fresh, cold water to the boil. Infuse 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea or 1 tea bag per person in a cup or teapot. Allow to steep for 3 to 5 min for desired taste.
Mulled Wine Recipe:
5 tp of Warm-Spicy Loose Leaf tea (tied in a cotton cloth). 1 litre of red wine. Simmer with lid on for 10 min, do not allow to boil. Serve garnished with a slice of orange. Add sugar to taste.
